July 14, 15, and 16

We are holed up in Wawa, Ontario due to injury. TimB had a back spasm on Sunday night (Hexenschuss uff Deutsch) and is resting in bed for 3 days. During this time he has been waited on hand and foot by TimG who is proving to be an excellent nurse. Thanks goodness for the Tour de France on television.

Many thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes. I had expected to spend the day on a bike saddle not nursing a cripple but at least I get to rest between fetching tea and meals and doing the laundry and ……….

Hey Dad,
Sorry to hear about your back. That really sucks! Hopefully it will feel better soon. Sounds like Tim G is doing everything to ensure that! Happy Belated Birthday Tim.

What a bummer Tim B! Hope you get back on track real soon. Nothing worse than a back problem..

It's amazing that you have come this far in what seems to be a short time. Loved the photo of the daisy field.

Travel safe!

Belated best wishes to birthday Tim. I wrote yesterday evening a comment, but anything malfunctioned.
Have a nice trip for you.

Hey Cousin Tim and European Tim: Happy belated birthday...we should have had a cake for you - sorry about that Tim! Hey cousin, hope your back is mending...we are sending positive vibes your way so that hopefully you will both be back in the saddle again! Ooops, that a cowboy story of another era. Just figured out how to contact you two. Sorry to hear about the set-back (!) and hope you will be on the road again soon. Wind in your face, cold and uphill etc has still got to be better than TG playing nursey...... - I dont want to think about it. Keep it up and now I have realised this is a two-way, thing you can look forward to more facetious encouragement. Seriously though, great going and - I am VERY ENVIOUS and VERY ADMIRING. Hope Canadian Tim is already on the mend.
