Another early start as we flew from
Bagan to Mandalay at 8 AM It was the shortest flight ever – about
25 minutes and we were at our hotel by 9:30. We visited the Royal
Palace in the morning and then took a taxi to visit U Pein bridge.
It is a 2 KM long bridge made mostly of teak wood. We walked
halfway across the bridge and then stopped to take pictures . It was a great photo op. One of the nicest parts of the trip was to see the number of locals out enjoying the sunset and the socializing that happens on the bridge.

Three monks on a bridge. You would not catch me on it. LOL.. There are no side rails. And man you guys are so full of energy. Where does it all come from??? You are going to have to take a vacation just to rest up once you arrive back to Canada. Your photography is awesome!! There are no words to express those sunsets and the temples. WOW!!! Continue to enjoy yourselves. Travel safe.
