Flight from Montreal to Singapore:

We departed Montreal at 12:05 right on schedule.  Our flight took us from Montreal to Newark to Hong Kong to Singapore.   The leg from Newark to Hong Kong went right over the North Pole, so 4 hours after departure we flew over Montreal on our way north.   The skies were clear in southern Quebec and we had a great view of the Eastern Townships and Lanaudiere.   Later we also had a great view of Siberia and Mongolia.  The snow is already on the ground in Siberia.
All flights were on time and we arrived just before midnight on Tuesday.  It took 24 hours to fly to Singapore.  We did have a problem finding Caroline’s place, but after circling the block for half an hour we tracked it down.

Good afternoon; Glad to read that you all arrived safe and sound in Singapore. Ironic that the Amazing Race started on Sunday evening (one of my favorite reality shows) and just before the host sent the teams on their way he said "travel safe". At that moment I thought of you Tim on all your previous excursions, I'd tend to say the same thing at the end of my comments. Well it's nice to have you stay in touch and that the family is well and still on the move. You missed a memorable and exciting first hockey game against Toronto. Candiens lost but not without a "fight" to say the least. So I shall get back to work. Am still at the Board Office four days a week so today is my "Friday".....Enjoy Singapore and I look forward to your blog. And as always, travel safe guys.
