It's Saturday night and Joan and I are finished packing and just cleaning up loose ends. We leave tomorow on a 6 AM flight out of Dorval airport. We fly to Chicago (3hrs), then cross to Tokyo (13hrs) and then fly to Saigon (7hrs). The total 'in transit' time is 28 hrs. Fortunately Joan is a good upright sleeper. I will be too.
We will spend 4 weeks touring in Vietnam before Joan returns home and Tim goes for a little bike ride in Vietnam, Cambodia and maybe Laos.

Good luck Folks. Have a good time and be safe. Remind yourselves of all the tips you would give your kids before we travelled and you'll be fine.
And then you can come home and help me fix up my new condo!
